Šibenik ‘Kolo’ & guests perform Carmina Burana

‘One hundred and twenty performers celebrating one hundred and twenty years of Kolo’ sums up the program by Šibenik Choral Society Kolo as it celebrates a 120-year anniversary in the closing performance of St Michael’s Fortress summer concert stage. They will be joined on stage by the Croatian Armed Forces Symphony Wind Orchestra and the Rijeka Semper Allegro Mixed Choir, performing the captivating and demanding Carmina Burana, from Tchaikovsky’s Overture. The evening program is under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Croatia.

Kolo has kept alive the tradition of choral singing, nurturing Croatian cultural heritage, social companionship and multicultural cooperation for over 119 years. Having received a number of awards for festival performances and choir competitions in Croatia and abroad, Kolo has confirmed its position at the top of Croatian choral singing.
