International Children’s Festival in Šibenik
The International Children’s Festival in Šibenik, first held in 1958, is one of the most recognizable and oldest cultural events for children in Croatia. The festival was created as an initiative by enthusiasts devoted to children’s art and, over the decades, has developed into a complex and internationally recognized program.
During the festival, both young and adult visitors enjoy performances, workshops, and interactive activities that encourage children’s imagination and creativity. The program includes various art forms: drama, puppetry, musical theatre, film, literature, and visual arts.
Šibenik, a city with a rich cultural and musical tradition, becomes a vibrant stage of creativity during the festival, where different artistic forms and cultures meet. Children and families take part in a shared program that encourages artistic expression and creativity.
